One of the most exclusive restaurants in Dubrovnik, Nautika, enjoys a spectacular position beside the city walls between the Lovrijenac and Bokar fortresses, overlooking the sea and the Old Harbour. Its reputation rests not only on outstanding cuisine but also on an atmosphere that combines Mediterranean elegance, luxury and one of the most dramatic settings in the Adriatic. At night, the illuminated fortresses create a theatrical backdrop both on the terrace and inside the interior, whose design draws inspiration from Dubrovnik’s history. The cuisine is rooted in Mediterranean and Dalmatian traditions while incorporating French and Italian culinary techniques. Local identity comes from the use of Adriatic seafood, while refined presentation reflects fine-dining precision. In addition to two tasting menus, the restaurant offers an à-la-carte selection of starters, soups and main courses. Tuna fillet is paired with dehydrated capers and a trio of fennel, while sea bass arrives with barley, zucchini and an olive-oil-lime emulsion. Among the meat dishes, veal cheeks braised in Dubrovnik Malvasia stand out, served with onion and potato cream, glazed carrots and kale chips. A memorable dessert is the whipped hazelnut ganache on chocolate sponge with salted caramel. The extensive wine list features outstanding Croatian and international labels – from Armenia to New Zealand – and guests can confidently rely on the expert sommelier’s recommendations.
