Spinnaker is located in the marina of Kaštela. The impressive panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding area, as well as the modern interior with large glass walls, attract many visitors. Spinnaker can be accessed by land and sea, which is especially convenient for boaters. Last year, we wrote that it is open all year round, but this has changed, so we recommend checking the information on the restaurant’s website. You can come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In terms of gastronomy, Spinnaker’s biggest asset is the fresh fish available from local fishermen as well as seasonal ingredients from the area. They pay special attention to the presentation of the food and the wine and they bake their own bread. You can also have gluten-free or vegetarian dishes, which contributes to the diversity and the quality of the service. Meat lovers will be pleased with the wild boar goulash, the Black Angus burger, the lamb shank or the premium steak. We also tried a steak, but a monkfish one. The soft meat with a clean and balanced flavour could be separated with a fork, and the white fish velouté and potatoes nicely rounded off the dish. From the selection of desserts we tried the deconstructed carrot cake. It was good but lacked a bit of structure. The personnel are helpful, kind and punctual, which is especially commendable. The restaurant Spinnaker is ideal for a romantic sunset dinner but also for family celebrations and weddings.
