Uje oil bar is a paradise for lovers of olive oil, wine and seafood. Located in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace, it consists of seven different spaces - each with a different gastronomic theme. There are two dining rooms, a fish market, a room for tasting and buying olive oil, a room for tasting cured meats and cheeses, an open kitchen area, and a wine and evening room - ideal for intimate dinners and private events. Their gastronomic offer is based on olive oil and the authentic flavours of Dalmatian cuisine, which depends on the availability of ingredients, primarily fish and seafood. Their specialties are mussel soup, cuttlefish with broad beans, homemade ice cream with olive oil and bruschetta with prawns and rock samphire. They prepare white fish brodetto in the old-fashioned way and serve it with maccheroni, and occasionally they have some inventive snacks such as profiteroles filled with white fish pâté and capers or - Dalmatian hummus. Their wine list is solid, prices are reasonable, and on top of all that - Uje Oil bar in Split is synonymous with good catering.
