The Zelenika family vineyards, specializing in premium sparkling and still wines, span four hectares, where Traminer and Chardonnay are cultivated according to organic principles. Their sparkling wines stand out for their quality, originality, and historical inspiration. Aureus pays tribute to Emperor Diocletian, while Carmen Sylva - a sparkling wine infused with pine needle liqueur and recipient of a Decanter award - is dedicated to the Romanian queen who spent summers in Opatija in the 19th century. The sparkling wine U sridu commemorates the 300th anniversary of the Sinjska Alka, while the latest release, Rex Privilegium, honors the 500th anniversary of the Ilok Statute and was produced in a limited edition of just 500 bottles. Their wines have been tasted by The Rolling Stones and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and at the Dubai Wine Festival in 2007 - where they exhibited at the invitation of Princess Haya - they received the title of “Favorite.” In their tasting room by the Danube, set in a traditional Syrmian house, visitors can enjoy Kada, a wine made from a rare red aromatic Traminer, along with a selection of cheeses paired with kulen sausage, sesame, roasted peppers, walnuts, and other local specialties.
