Plovanić Wines combine the family tradition with a modern approach to winemaking. The Rubeša family carefully preserves the natural resources and the authenticity of the local terroir, focusing on quality rather than quantity – that is clearly reflected in every sip. Their standout product is the Kastavska Belica blend, a traditional wine symbolizing the region’s heritage, which received a top rating for still wine in 2019. A novelty is Belica Mi2, representing a return to natural winemaking without oenological additives. They are also known for Malvazija, the red blend Nera, and a unique sparkling wine made from indigenous varieties Verdić, Jarbola, and Divjaka. A special feature is their Georgian amphora wine Amfora 246 macerated for 8 months and aged for 12 months in large wooden barrels, as well as the sparkling Amfora 365.
