Agronomist and oenologist Mladen Papak, former long-time director of Iločki podrumi (Ilok’s Cellars), began his own wine production in 2014, involving his entire family in the venture. Their 13 hectares of vineyards are located at the Radoš site on the slopes of Fruška Gora - the easternmost wine-growing region in Croatia. On the site of his former family home, Papak built a winery with a tasting room surrounded by vineyards. He passed on his passion for viticulture to his son Karlo, also a graduate agronomist, and together they are developing the family business. Graševina dominates their vineyards, alongside Traminer, Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Their range also includes two sparkling wines- Radosh White and Radosh Rosé - while standout labels include Graševina Selected Harvest of Dried Berries 2015 and Traminer Ice Wine 2016. A special experience awaits visitors in their vineyard tasting room, where, under expert guidance, wines are paired with local delicacies such as Srijem sausages, kulen, cracklings, ham, cheese, and freshly baked savory pastries.
