For two decades, winemaker Ivo Brzica from Erdut has been developing a concept that goes beyond classic wine production. Based on his own philosophy, wine is not just a product to be enjoyed at the table, but is part of a broader story that also includes accommodation, an authentic experience of the region and gastronomy. Actually, he is a pioneer in the Erdut vineyards offering his guests a complete package of products and services. He owns six hectares of vineyards planted with 28 thousand vines of Graševina, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Vranac. His winery produces 25,000 bottles a year, with a focus on premium wines. Ivo Brzica is also the owner of the Vinotel in the center of Aljmaš, a venue designed for exploring the best vines in a comfortable accommodation. The hotel has ten luxuriously furnished rooms, thematically related to Brzica wines and their labels. Annually 250 tastings are held at the Vinotel where guests can taste and buy wines as well as visit three holiday homes in Erdut - all overlooking the river of Danube, immersed in greenery and surrounded by beautiful nature attractive for trekking, cycling, hunting and fishing.
