Winery presentation by Gault&Millau

Osijek - based dentist Mladen Siber planted his first vineyard in 2003 on a hill overlooking the picturesque town of Erdut. Since then, he has significantly expanded his estate, which now covers 13 hectares planted with noble varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Yellow Muscat. Focused on smaller batches and top quality, the winery produces around 25,000 liters annually and has been making sparkling wines since 2007. Their wines have received numerous awards, including gold for Yellow Muscat and bronze for Cabernet Sauvignon at the Decanter awards. Mladen and his wife Dušica are passionate art lovers, reflected in their distinctive labels designed by Osijek - based academic painter Marko Živković. The future of the winery is secure, as their daughter-in-law Ivana - originally from Zagreb and trained as a pharmacist - has joined the family business. After initially working in a pharmacy, she gradually became her father-in-law’s right hand, and today they run the winery together. Known locally as “Mr. Sauvignon,” Mladen Siber continues to invest in new technologies and follow modern winemaking trends while maintaining a commitment to premium quality. Guests are welcomed in a spacious courtyard featuring a gazebo with a barbecue, a terrace, and a tasting room for around twenty people.
