Gault&Millau's review 2026

Bota Šare Oyster & Sushi bar is located in the old town of Split and it is one of the restaurants of the same name, all over Croatia, that daily gets fresh fish and shellfish directly from Mali Ston, where there is their main restaurant. So, one thing is sure: they have a fresh fish offer every day. This especially applies to oysters, which are consumed in large quantities, mostly raw, with the taste of the sea. Although raw oysters are the stars of the whole experience, you can also order them in tempura, like many other sea gems. Since the offer is primarily raw and fresh fish, a fusion with Japanese influence was imposed, and that’s how this oyster & sushi bar was created. With a wide range of sashimi, nigiri, and rolls in countless varieties, any serious sushi restaurant would envy them. They offer exclusively fish, crabs, and oysters from the Adriatic Sea, and they have given their personal touch to the Japanese inspirations. The vine selection is also good. Here, fresh and row seafood lovers will be in their element, and few places will be able to compete with them.
